Head of Sustainability
The overall responsibility is to drive the sustainability agenda within Reitan Retail by creating engagement, identify opportunities and support the businesses in reaching their sustainability strategy and KPIs. The role is at Group level and will report to the COO.
Our new Head of Sustainability is a team player who can work with multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. You have great analytical and problem-solving skills and you communicate effectively to encourage good working relationships internally and externally.
Key activities include:
- Lead the sustainability agenda through the businesses in close collaboration with business area managers
- Ensure that all sustainability initiatives are founded in Reitan Retail’s purpose, mission and strategic measures
- Be a strong ambassador for Reitan Retail internally and externally
- Serve as ”Sustainability subject matter expert” throughout the organization
We are looking for a candidate with an academic background, preferably Master-level or higher, in a relevant field, i.e. sustainability, complexity science, organisational development studies, business or economics. The right candidate has a demonstrated track record from sustainability roles within retail, production or industry, and is experienced in working towards senior leadership, board and executive level.
The role can be located either in Oslo, Stockholm or Copenhagen. Some travel to other locations within the Nordics and Baltics must be expected.
